The days are flying by like everyone said they would. We are nearing the 6 month mark and Loretta is getting so big. She had quite a growth spurt recently and if you haven't seen her you will be amazed. She is now a "giant" baby. That is what I called the babies her size when she was a newborn. I never could imagine she would reach this size so quickly and be able to do all the things she can do. Her motor control is getting better dramatically with each passing day. Those little fingers can softly stroke my cheek, pinch my nose and grab for her dad's beard (or soon to be moustache?)...

Almost every night before her bedtime I have the feeling that I won't make it through the day...but then I do. Her personality is really coming through and she is such a happy little girl who isn't afraid to let us know when we aren't getting it right. I still have a-ha moments of parenting. At times I feel so dumb, and yet at other times like I am getting the hang of it. Every day is an adventure and we continue to enjoy (almost) every minute of her.

We signed up for a swim class for Saturday mornings, so hopefull we will start that this week. If we do we will try to post some photos. Here are pics from Halloween and a visit from Auntie Jenna.
