Loretta continues to age with every passing day and unbelievably, she will be a one-year-old in just two weeks!
She loves to cruise around, has taken a step or two (with a little coaxing), but seems to enjoy crawling for now. She is such a quick crawler, no need for walking yet. We will keep you posted!
Her favorite toys are little things that she finds around the house (and the hamper is fun too). We hide a deck of cards where we know she will find it. Fun little game. She is so proud when she finds it and crawls around for a while holding that deck.
Apparently she favors food beginning with "b" - her favorite foods include bananas, brocolli, bread and beans. Everyone tells us she is a great eater. She is eating solids 3 meals a day, plus snacks, plus breastfeeding.
It seems that we are always singing and dancing around here...Lola definitely keeps things upbeat. She is talking too. Definite words include dada, mama, tree, nunu, mo (more). One of my speech langauge pathology professors wants me to keep a list of her first 100 words. I guess now is the time to start.
