Now that we have been here almost a week, we are settling nicely into our new home. It is so nice to both be off of work and school for the next three (actually, make that two) weeks and are enjoying much needed R&R. We live near downtown San Jose, within a 10 minute bike ride of both our schools (Lincoln and San Jose State University). The HP Pavilion is only about 8 blocks away, and New Kids On The Block is playing there in October. Tina Turner too!
Wendy went above and beyond with the contact paper. Below, Benji is getting a little crazy and contact papering her!
Yesterday we finished painting two of the walls, got the internet hooked up and got our parking passes. Here is Benji taping before the paint job. In the background is our patio, which I am very excited about.
So we are pretty much all moved in, with only a few loose ends to tie up. We are all ready for company! Come visit us! Did I mention that there is a lovely day spa right on our street?
